How can you become a fast learner?

It is obvious that learning anything in the world, especially languages, differs from one person to another regarding their ability to learn faster. However, you can improve your ability and It only depends on the effort you are going to exert.

    Do you agree?

Languages are the very elements that connect us as humans.

I believe that when you learn a new language, you are able to wire into a new realm or a new dimension. It's magical in a way.

As far as motivation, I think it's natural and if you have it, you will never stop learning.

Language keeps people close to each other and sometimes can prevent hate from separating us. Once you talk to someone, you may feel more sympathetic towards their cause. There is no talking to each other without language, of course.

Hi, I wish my motivation was at the level of some of you! I've just started a rather informal group for learning Italian (U3A - University of the third age - for retired people). I think it'll be a long slow process, but I will learn, I'm sure. And it's such a lovely language.
