  • Hello to all

Hello everyone, my name is Irina, and I'm from Russia. I'm fluent in English and currently learning Italian and Mandarin Chinese. I also hope to start learning German in a couple of weeks, and there are three more languages on the wish list for the next few years.

I'm a student in Lingostan, but I'm also helping a bit with copywriting, translation and promotion. I also work as a technical writer for a large international IT company. Hope to meet new friends through this forum.

Hi Irina, how are you? Sorry, but I know nothing about Russian, except some few typical words... Just for curiosity, which are those three other languages in queue?

Hi Victor, I'm fine, thank you.

The languages in the queue are French, Japanese and Spanish. And I can't promise that I won't add more

Thank you. Are you finding our grammar very difficult?

A long queue, but you know what they say; after the third language, the others come easily...

Thanks, Victor. I'm not worried - if I master Mandarin Chinese, nothing will look difficult after that.

Hi folks - I think I'm in the wrong place! I've just joined Lingostan with a view to learning Italian but following the link for "Forum" I seem to have stumbled into the Russian one! While I'm here I'd like to say "Hi" especially to Irina Ponomareva who introduced me to the site.

                          Hi Laury!
Why don't you start your own topic introducing yourself? I would be happy to know the reason why you study Italian and what you find more interesting/difficult of it.

I mean, it's very easy to run into the wrong language here, since we are talking about so many of them. But the good news is that you will likely find some interesting stuff in nearly every section of the board.

I know that you are quite a multilingual person yourself.
